That having been said, I caught wind of the project via /r/katawashoujo, and decided to look into it a bit. Needless to say, I'm actually pretty interested/excited to see how this VN comes out, the artwork looks great so far.

Well, Starswirl was always supposed to be something for both fans and non-fans. I'm surprised to see the latter so early on, though. I wouldn't have thought that we would see any non-bronies until after the game released.

I'm surprised it was posted in r/katawashoujo, i don't remember it popping up but that may need to be looked up on.

I searched for it, but came up empty handed. I'm not great at searching Reddit, though.

Welcome to forums, Zeke! From what I can tell, they're still trying to hire people before they progress any further in terms of writing. On their Tumblr, they stated that they have a planned length for each story. They might still be working in other areas, because they actually have shown progress. I'm hoping it will still have enough information to keep everybody updated. Which brings up the topic again, you finding out the game by word of mouth. Considering the game's supposedly a closed project, I'm pretty curious myself now. This game is growing huge fast, and based on what we've seen so far, I'm glad the project is already getting the attention it deserves!

Man when the show first started I watched it entirely ironically, but it was things like this, the stories and all the fans conviction to the show and all the things they have done with it that pushed me into the fandom. But with that said hello and dear god I hope you have the anticipation I have, I may just have a problem though.
