Rambling About Our Posters
Not like, posters as in... posters (I don't know what else to call them), but people that post on the site. Contributors, those things. It seems like nobody comes on here all too often, and that's kinda sad. I mean, I'm the 8th most chatty person on here (as of the creation of this topic), which is how you know something is wrong. Legitimate discussion of topics would be nice, and I'm not saying we should bring a whole bunch of people on board (though that would be pretty neat), but I feel like we should all make an effort to be more active (hypocrisy count 1).
What topics to discuss, we can figure out once something happens, but other forums I've been to can just conjure things out of thin air like current events (DIDJA HEAR THE ONE ABOUT ROB FORD) or game sort of things (above poster is _____) and we all had a good laugh. I get that the forum's not #1 priority, I assume it isn't for anyone, but we could at least try and talk more, is what I've spent this post trying to say.
Sorry if this sounds a bit whiny, but it's just disappointing to be away from the forums for a couple days and see that maybe someone said something. Even the Hasbro letter drew little attention over here. The people I've interacted with have been great to talk to, the problem is that they can be counted on one hand.

Re: Rambling About Our Posters
Friend, I've been on this forum for like, a year, and trust me when I say this place is a whole lot chattier than it was when I first joined. :u I think there were like, twelve posts total.
I try my best to reply to every intro post, and contribute to threads. But it's kinda hard when no one's contributing or anything. ;w; But I do like this forum, it's really fun. It's the only forum I can really talk about VNs about in any depth without losing everyone. It would be nice to see it be as lively as, say, Legends of Equestria. We just don't have as many people on board the project is all. o: If you want there to be more activity, go out and promote! It's always fun to meet new friends! >w<

The problem with the latter sentence is found in the former. It's extremely difficult to talk to anyone about this and get them to elicit a reaction greater than "go away

Well I'm sure you can find people who would be interested in a VN with ponies? You don't have to talk about the stuff that loses people (e.g. mechanics, character depth, pacing, etc.), just talk about the things people would enjoy! ouo That's what I do, and I've had five or six people play the demo and enjoy it.
