Ah hey! Thanks for the welcome!
I must have missed it in the hustle and bustle of the forum, heh.
Not too much! Just enjoying the summer while it lasts and looking forward to this sweet-looking VN.
How are you doing?

Hectic as crap, job hunting and college junk. =o= Also waiting for an update on the VN. The biggest bit of news I've heard ever since finding this VN is the gallery opening back up, so I take it that it'll be a while. :u
Lol yeah summer, whatever. >n> Mine's been wasted on doing grown up things. I thought graduating would be freedom at last but lolnope now I gotta do a lot of paperwork and stuff. >:c Lame.

Re: Salutations!
Yeah, job hunting is no fun at all. I can sympathise.
Ah, well, it'll get here eventually. The creators seem exceptionally tight lipped about the goings on, but I suppose that's to be expected.
Yuck. That sounds gross.
I have one more year till I graduate (college) and I'm not super thrilled about it, heh.
(you graduate HS or college?)

Re: Salutations!
I just graduated high school and going into a super-complicated college thingy that I *think* I have planned out but iunno I'll talk to my advisors on Monday and see what happens. ;u; I'm so totally nervous-cited you don't even know bro. :T It's a completely different deal than high school was.

Ah! Congratulations on graduating!
Is it financial shenanigans that need sorting out? Those are tough. >u<
Heh, you're telling me!
What are you going to college for?

Re: Salutations!
Nah, money's no issue for me. I'm applying to the Hazelwood thingy, which exempts me from literally 90% of my tuition, AND pays me like 2 or 3,000 a semester. Coule that with my VA benefits, which pay for all of my tuition plus about 1k a semester, I'm making about $3,000 a semester. Which is a lot of money. :U
Welllll that's the complicated part, what I'm going for. =u=; See I wanna major in recording engineering, but the VA will only pay for in-state tuition and no schools in Texas have a recording engineering degree. The school I want to go to is Full Sail in Florida, which is super expensive anyway, sooooo I'm going to go here in Texas for an associate's in computer engineering which will get me some of the classes I'll need for a recording engineering degree, plus it's almost completely paid for. Yeah all kinds of confusing BUT IT WORKS FOR ME SO THERE /o/

Re: Salutations!
Dang! That's pretty sweet! An interesting conundrum with the major you want though. Are you going to save up and try to get the other classes you need after the four in Texas?

Mhm~. I'm going to be going to school and working full-time, so it's going to be tough. But I'm a tough person, so challenge accepted. >:3
You planning on going to school?

Re: Salutations!
Oih. That will be tough. I wish you luck friend.
I am about to go into my fourth and final year of college, to finish my mechanical engineering degree.
It's been pretty rough- homework till 2AM many nights, but I'm glad to have made it this far.
It's worth it too.
Also, that's a great attitude to have!

Pfff. I'm up til 2 every night anyway. Everyone says it's going to be harder than high school but I SEVERELY doubt that. =o= High school was hell for me, and the work load wasn't even the half of it.
Fourth year?! Wow you must be old! o:

Re: Salutations!
Then you'll be set!
Yeah, it really depends on your major and how hard HS was for you.
Heh, age is relevant.
I made a policy early on that I would never grow up on the inside, and I'm sticking with it!
You'll be living on campus, yeah?

Re: Salutations!
Uhhhh I'm not sure right now, since the dorms are shitting me out of money by making me pay 2800 a semester plus an additional 1400 for a mandatory "meal plan" even if I won't eat in the cafeteria. So I might stay in some apartments nearby or just where I'm at right now, since the apartments aren't in a good part of town. =3=;

Re: Salutations!
Yeah, the dorms tend to bleed you dry.
Do you have the option to opt out as a freshman? I didn't.
How far away are you now? A decent commute?

Re: Salutations!
Yeah, dorms aren't mandatory. =o= But if I get a dorm, I have to get that meal ticket thing also.
I'm actually really close, prolly like a 15 minute drive. I'm in a good part of town too so yeah.

Re: Salutations!
Ooh! Yeah, then living at home (or where you are now) seems like great idea!
Out of curiosity, why was HS so tough for you? Were you working then?

Re: Salutations!
Nah, I've never had a job. Which sucks cuz now I need to find one and I don't have any experience. :u
Well I'm a disabled homosexual foreigner in the middle of the Bible Belt, so you can see why I caught a lot of flak. =w=;

Re: Salutations!
Yuck. I know how that feels. My first job was McDonalds and it wasn't very fun.
At least it paid!
Ooh! Where are you from?
I'm a heterosexual, christian, white dude- *brohoof* Nice to meet you!
I'm sorry it has been rough.
A lot of people don't really understand what it means to be Christian.

Re: Salutations!
I would never work at a fast food restaurant. >:I I've heard stories that still keep me up at night.
Welllll that's a hard question. :u I'm really only half Japanese, half American, but I grew up in America for as long as I can remember with my daddy, who was my japanese half. So I'm about as American as you can get. ;D
-brohoof- Don't worry about it. I've met plenty of good Christians. c: But a lot of the ones where I was at in Alabama were just terrible.

Re: Salutations!
My experience wasn't gross or anything, just grindingly boring. I don't ever want to do that again.
Hey! Sounds good to me! Did you learn any Japanese from your father?
Cool. I'm glad.
It's sad for them that they don't get it.
Holding bitterness toward someone else just makes you miserable.

Re: Salutations!
I'm actually bilingual. Though I'm a bit self-conscious about it. xD; Every time I tell someone they tell me to speak it, so...
Yeah, I know what you mean. My religion is based on acceptance and being good without thinking of return, which is pretty much the opposite of those assholes in Alabama. >o>

Re: Salutations!
That's very cool!
Heh, yeah, I can see how that would discourage sharing the information,
Have you ever wanted to visit Japan?
Some Christians don't realize that 'Christian' means to follow and emulate Christ.
He said to his followers, 'However you judge someone else, that same measure will be used to judge you.'
I may not agree with you on everything, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be friends any less.
I have plenty of friends who make choices I don't agree with.

Re: Salutations!
I've visited a couple times, actually. I used to go over there every summer with Daddy before he died.
Sadly, a lot of people nowadays -- not just Christians -- use religion as justification for their own personal biases. I believe religion should be the one thing sacred to everyone and not thrown into everyone else's faces. But nothing's sacred nowadays. o~o

Re: Salutations!
Wow! What did you think of the cultural differences?
I am curious because as a purveyor of some Japanese media I get a very narrow view of Japanese culture, which is likely quite inaccurate.
What exactly do you mean by justification for personal biases, like they support their opinion with religion?
